Which Lightroom do you use?
Installing your digital darkroom is straightforward, but
slightly different on each version of Lightroom.
1. Lightroom Classic - Desktop
I edit photos on my computer and store them on my hard drive.
2. Lightroom CC - Cloud
I want my presets to sync from my computer to my other devices automatically.
1. Preset Installation For Lightroom Classic - Desktop
Step 01
Prepare Your Files
After your purchase, you will receive a .zip file. It will likely be in your "downloads" folder. Be sure to locate this file on your computer before continuing.
Step 02
Launch the Develop Module
Open Adobe Lightroom Classic. In the top right navigation bar, click Develop (or press D on your keyboard).
Step 03
Import Presets
Look at the sidebar on the left side of the screen and locate the "Presets" tab.
Click the (+) Icon, and Select "Import Presets..." from the dropdown menu.
Step 04
Select the Zip Folder
A file browser window will open, navigate to the zip folder from Step 01. Click on the file, then click the "Import" button.
Step 05
Verification
Your presets will now appear in the Presets sidebar under a new group named Modern Negative.
Troubleshooting: If you do not see them immediately, restart Lightroom Classic.
2. Preset Installation For Lightroom CC - Cloud
Step 01
Prepare Your Files
After your purchase, you will receive a .zip file. It will likely be in your "downloads" folder. Be sure to locate this file on your computer before continuing.
Step 02
Launch the Preset Module
Open Adobe Lightroom CC. In the top right navigation bar, click the Preset tab (Two Circles). Then be sure the "Yours" tab is selected.
Step 03
Import Presets
On the top left, click the (...) Icon, and Select "Import Presets..." from the dropdown menu.
Step 04
Select the Zip Folder
A file browser window will open, navigate to the zip folder from Step 01. Click on the file, then click the "Import" button.
Step 05
Verification
Your presets will now appear in the Presets sidebar and sync with all your devices within seconds
