The Modern Negative Guarantee
Unlike physical goods, digital assets (presets, profiles, and LUTs) cannot be "returned" once downloaded. Because access is immediate and irrevocable, all sales are generally considered final.
However, we believe in the quality of our work. We want you to use these tools, not just own them. Therefore, we offer a 48-Hour Satisfaction Guarantee for customers who genuinely cannot get the desired results from our profiles.
How to Request a Refund
If you are struggling to achieve the film look demonstrated in our examples, please follow these steps:

Contact Support: Email us at hello@modernnegative.com within 48 Hours of your original purchase date.

Show Your Work: Please attach 2-3 RAW files (or screenshots) showing the results you are getting vs. the results you want.

Workflow Audit: 95% of "bad edits" are simply due to White Balance or Exposure offsets. Our team will provide personalized advice to dial in the look for your specific camera.

The Resolution: If, after our assistance, the profiles still do not perform as advertised or do not fit your workflow, we will issue a full refund.
Non-Refundable Scenarios
To protect our intellectual property, refunds will not be granted in the following situations:

"Change of Mind": You decided you didn't want the product after downloading it.

Unwillingness to troubleshoot: You refuse to provide examples or accept support to fix exposure/WB issues.

Accidental Purchase: Buying the wrong product (e.g., buying "Aura" when you meant to buy "Nocturne") after the files have already been downloaded.
Processing Time
If your refund is approved, it will be processed immediately. Please allow 5-10 business days for your bank or credit card provider to post the credit to your account.
